Enrollment fee

That is the whole price list. No copays, no per-visit charges, nothing annual on top.

Keep your insurance for the big things. Use your membership for everyday healthcare.

Children must be at least 3 and enrolled alongside an adult member. Our pediatric care starts at age 3.

HSA eligible. Federal legislation effective January 1, 2026, permits individuals with high-deductible health plans to utilize Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to pay for Direct Primary Care membership fees. Confirm with a qualified tax professional for your specific plan.

Payment. All payments are managed through Hint Health. We accept credit and debit cards and ACH bank transfers.

Cancel any time. Either party may end the agreement with at least 30 days’ written notice. No exit fee, no penalty.

Included

What the fee covers.

All of your standard primary and preventive care, plus the access and attention that make it work.

Unhurried appointments

Visits run 30 to 60 minutes, longer when they need to. Enough time to hear the whole story, not just the chief complaint.

Direct access to your provider

Call, message, or video-visit your care team through our secure app. No phone tree, no waiting on a callback that never comes.

Same-day and next-day visits

Sick today? We make every effort to get you on the schedule today or tomorrow. That is the flexibility a small patient panel makes possible.

Labs

Blood draws happen in-house. You pay our deeply discounted direct pricing—often substantially less than typical pricing. You’ll know the exact cost before anything is run.

Body composition analysis

Segmental analysis and trending of lean muscle mass, body fat, and visceral fat included in your membership.

Proactive wellness planning

Dedicated, unhurried time to focus on your lifestyle, nutrition, and mental well-being, ensuring prevention is your starting point and not the afterthought. In short, it means we invest our energy into keeping you well, instead of just managing your illness after it happens.

Not included

What it does not cover.

Not covered by your monthly fee doesn’t mean you’re on your own. We still help with everything below, whether that’s ordering tests, making referrals, coordinating your care, or, for some services like occupational exams, providing them here for a separate fee. You pay for these à la carte, only when you need them.

Your care doesn’t stop here.

Some services fall outside your membership fee, but our commitment to your care doesn’t. We’ll help coordinate referrals, communicate with specialists, and remain your partner throughout the process, so you’re never left to navigate the healthcare system alone.

  • Imaging & outside laboratory services. Imaging (e.g. X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds) and specialized laboratory testing are not included in the membership fee. However, we can order these services for you, help you find affordable pricing, and coordinate your care with trusted local facilities.
  • Specialist care. Specialist visits and procedures are not included in the membership fee. When needed, we will provide referrals, coordinate your care, and help you navigate the next steps with specialty providers.
  • Vaccinations. Vaccines are not included in the membership fee. We do not stock vaccines but we can provide a prescription or referral to a local pharmacy or vaccination center.
  • Durable medical equipment. The cost of equipment (e.g., crutches, braces, wheelchairs, CPAP devices), home monitoring devices, and other medical devices are not included in the membership fee. When medically appropriate, we can prescribe or order these items and help guide you to local suppliers.
  • Emergency and hospital care. Any fees associated with emergency transportation, emergency department visits, urgent care services, or hospital-based inpatient or outpatient care are not included in the membership fee. If you need emergency care, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention. We remain available to help coordinate your follow-up care after treatment.

Services requiring separate arrangements

We believe great healthcare starts with transparency, including knowing where the edges of membership lie. The following services are not included in your membership and may require separate arrangements, additional fees, or referral to another provider depending on your specific needs.

  • Occupational, disability & regulatory examinations. FMCSA (DOT) physicals, Workers’ Compensation visits, disability determinations, insurance and legal evaluations, ADA accommodation documentation, and other third-party examinations are not included in your membership fee.
  • Chronic pain management. We do not provide chronic pain management services. Patients requiring ongoing pain management will be referred to an appropriate pain management specialist.

Labs

Labs at direct pricing. No surprise bill.

Enjoy the convenience of on-site blood draws and specimen collection with zero added labor fees. Your membership unlocks our direct pass-through pricing for routine lab work. We pass these exceptional volume savings straight to our members.

Certain specialized labs, pathology, or non-routine tests may carry an extra charge. We value transparency, so you will always know the exact number before anything is run. You will never learn a lab price from a bill.

Blood draw services are available to active members by appointment only. We do not accept walk-in lab orders from outside providers or the general public.

Children must be at least 3 years old and enrolled alongside an adult member.

What does direct pricing look like?

Why pay retail prices for routine lab work? Through our direct partnerships with national laboratories, members receive many common labs at deeply discounted direct rates.

Important Notices Under Alaska Law

Please read this before you join.

You’ve already seen the essentials on this page: our membership is not health insurance, you can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice, and we never bill insurance companies. However, three specific points carry explicit legal weight under Alaska law and deserve their own formal space here:

Who we can and cannot accept. Direct Primary Care in Alaska is available to most Alaska residents. Whether you have insurance, a high-deductible health plan, Medicare, are self-employed, or have no insurance at all, you may be eligible to join our practice. Direct Primary Care works well for insured and uninsured patients alike and is especially valuable for families, small business owners, retirees, and those with high-deductible health plans. However, it is not insurance and should be paired with coverage for major medical events.

You are not covered by Alaska’s insurance protections. Because this agreement is not insurance, you are not entitled to the protections available to insurance policyholders under AS 21.07 or AS 21.36.

No participation for Medicaid and CAMA beneficiaries. If Patient is eligible to receive assistance under Alaska’s Medicaid Program including Denali KidCare (AS 47.07 Medical Assistance for Needy Persons) or Alaska’s Catastrophic Illness Assistance program and the Chronic and Acute Medical Assistance (CAMA) program, Patient is prohibited from participating in Practice DPC Program under Alaska law.

You can find these details, along with the rest of our practice terms, spelled out clearly in the Membership Agreement you sign when you join.
